I thought I knew what irony means. This little song seemed to explain it all...
The Asian pop kittens "Wondergirls" sing a song called "Irony," the chief irony being that I can't understand anything but the word "irony" itself in the video. In Korea, apparently, irony has something to do with a bulldog and a periscope.
If I could write a little ditty about irony, I'd start with what happened last night on the Tuesday hill ride. As always, and because I sweat like a damned farm animal, before I'd put my phone in a ziplock bag. I noticed that Cramer hadn't properly rainproofed his iPhone. Lemme take care of that for you, I offered, putting it in my little baggy, joking that, ha ha, I'd probably fall on it and crush it.
Well, I did. Sorry about that, Cramer. Whoops.
Riding Rock Creek Park
Trying to avoid Ringer's carcass
I slipped on a piece of bark
And fell right on my sharp ass.
I crushed your iPhone
And my Blackberry's down
I'll buy you a new one,
Sorry, Cramer, yes - I'm a clown.
